Society for the Appreciation of British Television

Hello everybody!

We are a society founded purely on the basis that all member enjoy british television (and science fiction, but that didn't make a good anagram so we didn't include it).

This is gathering of people, all with an ongoing (and albeit slightly obsessive) passion for the only type of television worth watching, have been meeting for well over a year, brought together by their common moral compulsion to watch British Television. We have sampled all of the classics including: Doctor Who (a main focus), Blackadder (a notable favourite with all members), Black Books (according to Lisa and the King of Sweden), Monty Python and the Holy Grail (and all its lovely shrubberies), Life on Mars (because we love Gene Genie), The Vicar of Dibley (because we LIKE jumping in 6-foot-deep puddles) and many many others. After each watching, we discuss the episode thoroughly, often over luncheon at Mrs. Miggin’s pie shop. Our favourite actors/actresses include: David Tennant, Dawn French, Hugh Laurie, Rowan Atkinson, Billie Piper, Catherine Tate, Mrs. Miggins, John Simm, Philip Glenister, Bill Bailey, Dylan Moran and Tony Robinson.

We all hope that, one day, everyone else can understand the delights of british humour and love science fiction as much as we do.

(Hear, hear!)

Um, sorry, but wouldn't it be SAoBT instead of SABoT?

Ha ha yes, it really should be, but "SABoT" is easier to say than "SAoBT", wouldn't you agree?
